After more than 20 studies, the researchers found that women who drank coffee during pregnancy were 20% more likely to give birth to leukemia than those who did not drink coffee.

Dennis Henshaw, a professor at the University of Bristol, believes that women do not have to give up drinking coffee, but should drink as little as possible during pregnancy. It is recommended that pregnant women should limit their daily caffeine intake to less than 200 mg, which is equivalent to one and a half cup of filtered coffee or two cups of instant coffee.
