Single O's newly renovated Surry Hills Cafe now has the world's first prototype coffee faucet system designed for mass production of coffee.
Four faucets, which look close to beer faucets, are arranged on the workbench, asking customers to click and pay before pressing a button to pour a cup within 15 seconds.
Mass production is by far the most effective coffee order, and savvy drinkers have been marked with long black, and they may have to wait five minutes to get batch brewing dumped on the spot. The faucet system can further increase speed and turnaround time and can now be 40 times faster than espresso.
The faucet system is also installed to reduce waste and milk consumption, as well as to educate customers with different tastes in a single coffee-as cafes are familiar with.
The concept is not new and is common at major airports in the United States, but Single O hopes it is a shame that they will not be held up because of their efforts and efforts in choosing and brewing coffee.
