According to comprehensive media reports, on the afternoon of June 5, the eighth China Fushan Coffee Cup International barista Championship ended successfully in Fushan Coffee Culture Town, Chengmai County, "the first Coffee Town in China". The competition attracted 23 world-class baristas from 15 countries, and the contestants all represented the level of the competition and the participating regions. in accordance with the rules of the International WBC Competition, they completed the production of 4 cups of espresso, 4 cups of cappuccino and 4 cups of creative coffee in 15 minutes in the course of the competition. Finally, after two days of competition, five contestants stood out.
Wojtek Bialczak from Germany was the runner-up, while Cole Jonathon Torode of Canada was the second runner-up, followed by Sun Lei of China and Pham Anh Thu of Vietnam.
The prize for this year's championship is 25000 yuan, the second runner-up is 20000 yuan, the second runner-up is 15000 yuan, and the fourth and fifth place are 12000 yuan and 10000 yuan respectively.
