Dionel named his estate Oak Tree Manor in honor of several old oak trees that still exist on the estate today. Dionel is the third generation of the Chilito family. Oak Manor, which peaks at 1800 meters above sea level, is located in the town of Pitalito in Whelan and has been producing fine coffee since four years ago. Dionel decided to change the variety of plants to test the benefits of different traditional cultivation. With the guidance of a nearby farmer, attempts to improve planting and treatment were started with the aim of increasing income.
Dionel lives and works on the estate with his wife and two daughters. He selectively harvests coffee to strict standards and removes diseased fruit by flotation, followed by fermentation and drying. The sanitary management of the manor is very strict. You can see slogans such as "No eating and smoking here". The water used for washing is also very clean.
