The Brazilian Coffee exporters Council (Cecafe) announced on February 8th that Nicolas Rueda, Chief Executive Director of ED&F Man Volcafe Brasil, would serve as President of the Brazilian Coffee exporters Council from 2021 to 2022. Gunter Hausler, General Manager of NKG Stockler, will serve as Vice Chairman of the Board; flavia Barbosa Paulino da Costa, Managing partner of guaxupe Coffee exporters, will serve as Secretary of the Council. The previous President of the Council, Nelson Carvalhaes, served as a member from 2016 to 2020, and will continue to serve as a substantive adviser to the Council at the end of two terms.

According to the Council, the task of the new Chairman will strengthen the political entities of the Council and modernize the management of projects such as social responsibility, sustainable development, export processes & statistics and business intelligence efficiency & transparency.
