The wild black tea of Zhengshan race is called Cai Cha Zhengshan race by local people.
Unlike other wild teas, wild Zhengshan race tea exudes a strong aroma of dried longan and tastes smooth without any astringency. The unusual wild flavor, mellow taste and reddish liquid brought by the traditional rolling process all give it an exotic and unique flavor. Once you drink this tea, you will never forget it.
Tongmu Village Tongmu Tea Garden, located in the north of Wuyishan National Nature Reserve, is the source of Wuyishan Jiuqu Creek Scenic spot and the hometown of Zhengshan race. There are four distinct seasons here, with an average annual precipitation of more than 2300 mm. The tea here grows in a semi-wild environment, with dense mountain forests covering about 315000 mu, ranging from 1000 to 1500 meters above sea level. The sea of clouds, rich vegetation and glittering mountain springs constitute the wonders here, making this land particularly suitable for growing tea. In addition to tea, bamboo is also an important industry of paulownia.
