Sharing of production process and Flavor characteristics of Brand Tea in Glenburn Tea Factory in Darjeeling
The bungalow Burra Bungalows is home to generations of planters and remains the focus of the Glenburn hotel, with a spacious main balcony, comfortable living room, fireplace and library. A luxurious restaurant with candlelight is a favorite place for families to spend the night. The four bedrooms are beautifully decorated, each with a different theme, comfortable, spacious and comfortable. Some rooms have open balconies where you can sit and have a cup of tea and enjoy the charming scenery. The water lily bungalow (Water Lily Bungalow) has four suites, located on the edge of Glenburn spur, with an amazing location, including a living room, a small dining room, two balconies and a two-story garden area, and is connected to the Burra bungalow by stone stairs. It also features a large entertainment and conference room, as well as our massage and steam room, with direct views of the mountains, private balconies, raised windows / or sitting in all bedrooms. Explore the tea garden you can enjoy the process of learning to grow tea in a few hours, or if you are a tea fan, it may take you a whole day to thoroughly understand each step. Uncle Parachal and I walked down for about three hours without even realizing it. There are local passers-by and some tourists driving along the whole road. After arriving at the tea garden, we watched an audio-visual display of Glenn's history, as well as a brief overview of tea planting, production and tasting. Then we went to the tea factory and, under the guidance of a tour guide, we visited how the tea was transported from the ground, weighed, and then went through the process of withering, rolling, fermentation, drying and sorting. The factory visit ends with tea tasting, which includes black tea, green tea, oolong tea and white tea, and we are taught to discover the differences in aroma, flavor and appearance of tea produced in different ways at different times of the year.
We visited the tea garden accompanied by a tour guide, who let us know how tea trees are planted and cared for. We also talked to the tea-picking ladies in Glenn to learn how to pick "two leaves and a bud", which are later made into tea and end up in your teacup. When we pick tea, we enjoy all kinds of birds, butterflies and plants. Later, we enjoyed all kinds of snacks on the way. We had lunch on the sandy banks of the Longton River, entered through the thick bamboo groves, and then rested by the river. When we got back to the cabin, it was late at night. We went to bed early after supper. Until I visit again... The next morning, I was arranged to go back to the city. Once again, I was energized and ready for life. Although I missed it, there are many other things they can do if they plan to stay in Glenn for more than two days. There is an one-day itinerary in Darjeeling and Kailinpeng.
