South Korea coffee producing area was born, Korea Lichuan coffee farm planting Arabica coffee beans ushered in the harvest season
Coffee tastes good, which is inseparable from the proper cultivation of coffee. Partners who have known coffee-producing countries should know that most of these coffee-growing places are between the Tropic of Cancer. As coffee is appreciated by more people, many people challenge nature, vowing to grow different coffee outside the "coffee gold belt". It never occurred to me that South Korea also has locally grown coffee beans! The coffee farm in Lichuan, South Korea, also ushered in the joy of a bumper harvest, which means that the latitude of the earth where human beings grow coffee has reached a new high.

The Coffee Workshop reported at the end of February that Yamako Farm in Okayama, Japan, had a harvest and sold raw beans for 2750 yen per 100g.

South Korean media Ohmynews conducted a site visit to the coffee farm, the total area of the farm is 2000 ping, of which about 2000 coffee trees are planted, including yellow bourbon and red bourbon.

The farmer formed a bond with the farm in 1999 and at first rented it out to grow foliage plants. In mid-2000, the consumption market of foliage plants in South Korea was depressed, so they planted coffee until after the first coffee harvest in 2021. Renamed Lichuan Coffee experience Farm.

Different from the traditional coffee growing areas, South Korea has four distinct seasons, hot summers and cold winters, which is not an ideal condition for growing coffee. To this end, Lichuan Coffee experience Farm has created suitable conditions for coffee cultivation, keeping the indoor temperature of growing coffee at about 15 degrees Celsius all the year round. In summer, if the indoor temperature is too high, the plastic shed will be opened and covered with sunshade cloth to let the temperature drop slightly. In winter, cover the plastic shed with a protective layer to raise the indoor temperature slightly.
Yunnan coffee producing area in China is one of the most traditional coffee producing areas in Lichuan, South Korea. The coffee harvest season in Yunnan, China is from November to February of the following year. However, coffee trees at South Korea's Lichuan Coffee experience Farm are generally harvested from March to July. About 2000 coffee trees in the 800ping area can produce 5 to 7 tons of coffee fruit and eventually produce 500kg to 700kg of raw coffee beans.

How hard it is to grow coffee, and only through personal experience can we know that every coffee grower wants his coffee to be recognized and affirmed by end consumers. He also hopes that his coffee beans can become the representative of that area. The farmer of Lichuan Coffee experience Farm is also in the same mood. He hopes that his farm's Lichuan coffee beans will become the representative of South Korean coffee beans.
Recently, data from South Korean government agencies show that South Korean coffee imports rose 24.2% year-on-year to $916.48 million in 2021, a record high. In addition, the number of coffee shops in South Korea far exceeded the number of convenience stores, reaching 83363. So is it possible to see more and more coffee beans grown in South Korea in the future?
So the question is, how can we get these Korean beans?
