A few days ago, Luckin Coffee announced through the official account to open the "take shop to join" mode.
The opening of "joining with shops" is a new joint venture cooperation mode based on the joint venture cooperation model, which is aimed at the shops that are operating during the lease contract period, or the investors who bring their own property rights shops. But at present, Ruixing has not yet announced the specific joining policy and sharing conditions.
From the specific requirements, want to become this kind of franchisee also need to meet these conditions: the shop is located in shopping malls, street shops, office buildings and other points; the area of ≥ 40 m ², door ≥ 4m, ≥ 30m away from the source of construction details; and can independently apply for business license, food business permit. The first batch of open "join with shops" areas are divided into North District, Central District and South District by Ruixing, facing 241 cities across the country. It is understood that the advantage of this "join with stores" model is to seize more points in the market ahead of time, which can save stores with weak profitability. It usually appears in retail convenience stores, real estate agents, communications services and other industries, but it is not common in the catering industry. It seems that Ruixing really made a big move this time in order to seize the blank market.
Ruixing said that there are mainly the following reasons for the opening and joining model: it is based on the fact that the current Chinese coffee market is still in a period of rapid growth; Ruixing is about to become the first chain coffee brand in China's coffee market to reach the scale of 10,000 stores. it has considerable advantages in scale and cost; after years of practice, the business model has also matured. Since the opening of the joint venture model, more and more investors want to cooperate with Lucky, so they want to provide more investors with an opportunity to start the coffee business quickly through this joining policy.
After Ruixing launched the policy, it immediately attracted the attention of some investors, including those who previously wanted to join Ruixing but switched to other brands because of conditions. Fundamentally, the policy of "joining with stores" can enable investors who have joined other brands to turn their attention to Ruixing.
In this regard, some investors on the social platform who are starting to join Kudi said that the extra cost is too high, and when they see Ruixing launch a new policy, they will consider "turning the card to be lucky". Another netizen pointed out that another intention of Lucky to open the store to join may be, "if you can't do it any longer, you can change the coffee machine, equipment and storefront (can) and continue to work for Ruixing."
In the "join with stores" mode, if the franchisees of Kudi or other coffee and tea brands fail to achieve stable revenue and the operation is not ideal, then they will directly bring the original coffee machines and other equipment and stores to Lucky. It's also an option worth considering.
In the continuous internal coffee market in China, the major brands have reached a critical period of speed and persistence, facing the competition of the sinking market, good points and franchisees will be the key bargaining chips. Now, Ruixing has officially entered the "Wandian era", not only through the self-management plus joint venture model to seize the market, but also combined with the "join with stores" model to cut into other physical stores to promote more offline stores to become their own camp.
