Nowadays, in addition to seriously selling coffee, many chain coffee shops will not only increase revenue by selling cups and other surrounding areas, but also harvest a number of "peripheral fans" to increase the loyalty of consumer groups. But then, the brand has to face a series of after-sales problems.
Recently, some netizens have posted posts complaining about the quality of Starbucks thermos cups.

The netizen bought the 591ml Fanxing Rabbit stainless steel insulation cup, which is currently priced at 184yuan at the official flagship store, but the original price was 369yuan when the netizen bought it. From the picture posted in the post, there is a black rust spot at the bottom of the stainless steel insulation cup. According to the netizen, he only uses an insulation cup when drinking a Starbucks hazelnut-flavored latte, rinses it immediately and leaves it for up to three hours.

The stainless steel rusted and the netizen immediately asked Starbucks to replace a cup after sale. Customer service said that the order has exceeded the after-sales limitation for a long time, and can not verify the use environment, so it does not support replacement or return processing. However, netizens are very dissatisfied with this view, because their use time is not long: "from the purchase order to now, it is only 1 month + 3 days." "you can't pass the buck to the user's environment if there are quality problems."

Starbucks is not alone in having rust spots. Under the comments section, other consumers shared their experience of rusting thermos. "the first one had rust in it before long," and "used it once."

In this regard, some netizens said that the quality of Starbucks insulation cup is really worrying, "this is obviously a quality problem, the raw materials are not fully integrated." "quality control is just not very good, it's just good-looking goods." "it has always been a waste of beauty, but this price reduction can not help but pay for beauty." "the cup in his house will just rust, and the cooperative money is a little better."

But there are other consumers who complain for Starbucks. After all, there are many people who have used thermos for a long time, and there is no rust. "I have a thermos that have been used for five or six years without rust." "I've been using mine for three years, and I don't seem to see rust except tea dirt." As a result, some netizens speculated that there may be something wrong with the way the blogger uses it. "to be honest, if you don't drink coffee in a thermos cup, you can buy an insulated ceramic cup and drink coffee."

Three days after the post, the blogger updated the post again, saying that after a series of phone complaints, Starbucks finally agreed to replace the rusty thermos cup.

As "spectators", it is very difficult for us to assess which party is responsible for the product problems in this incident. It can only be said that it is hoped that Starbucks and other coffee brands will learn lessons and strengthen the control over the quality of surrounding products, not to create "beautiful waste", but to pursue "better quality and better prices", while explaining the matters needing attention for the correct use of products, so that consumers can benefit from it and reduce consumer disputes.
