In fact, 90 +, whose full name is Ninety Plus, is an American company founded by Joseph Brodsky in 2006.

In 2004, Emerald Manor used Rose Summer to participate in the Panama BOP competition. With its floral fragrance and citrus flavor, Rosa Variety successfully stood out and won the championship. As a result, Rosa Variety rose, which attracted a lot of interest and attention, including Joseph Brodsky, the founder of 90 +.

So Joseph went to Panama, hoping to find coffee beans comparable to Rosa, but failed. But instead of giving up, Joseph chose to go to Ethiopia, all because there are more varieties of coffee that may not be discovered.

In 2006, Joseph began to live in Ethiopia and participated in local coffee cultivation full-time, and began to study the processing of coffee. At first, due to lack of funds, we did not have our own plantation, so we had to buy high-quality coffee berries picked by others and export them after fine processing. In this case, the coffee produced by Joseph began to attract the attention of the coffee industry with its extremely rich fruit flavor and high quality, including some international competitors, 90 + company began to become famous gradually.

However, Joseph has not been able to find a quality comparable to Rose Summer, so it decided to plant Rose Summer and make use of its unique treatment to create a top Rose Summer. So Joseph returned to Panama in 2009, bought the 90 + Rosa Manor (Ninety Plus Gesha Estate) in Volcan-Candela, started growing coffee, mainly the coffee varieties it brought back in Ethiopia and Panama Rosa varieties, and officially began producing coffee beans in 2014. Later, 90 + acquired a plot west of Bar ú volcano in 2019 to create the 90 + Ninety Plus Bar ú Estates, though the estate has not yet officially produced coffee beans.

Volcan-Candela, where 90 + Rosa Chateau is located, is one of Panama's main coffee producing areas. Although it is not as well-known as Boquete, it is also rich in natural resources. The Walken producing area is located to the east of the Baru volcano. Coffee is grown between 1200 and 1800 meters above sea level. It also has fertile volcanic soil and plenty of sunlight. However, due to the barrier of the mountains in the north of the region, the moisture in the Atlantic Ocean is difficult to reach, so the climate in the producing area will be drier.

90+ has set up a Profile Processing system to regulate the entire process of variety, planting, reception and treatment, and to tailor the treatment for each coffee bean. Ninety plus Sensory Room (NP sensory Laboratory) and Solar Kiln Laboratory were established to study different and general methods of raw bean treatment.

At present, there are two kinds of 90 + series coffee beans produced by the estate on Qianjie Street, one is Juliet Rose Summer and Eleta Rose Summer. These two are also part of the 90 + treatment method, but the 90 + company did not disclose the specific treatment method, but through the cup test, it is speculated that it is the anaerobic solarization treatment.

After cooking, Eleta Rose Summer will smell the aroma of longan and preserved fruit, with bergamot, orange, grape and pineapple flavor in the mouth, as sweet as apple juice, rich and varied taste and endless aftertaste.
