However, the recovery of coffee production is still lower than expected, so the market expects coffee production to reach 10.9 million bags in 2024.

However, the output is 8% lower than before, and due to the high domestic demand for coffee in Indonesia, although it is pointed out in the recent report that the domestic purchasing power of Indonesia 2024 is still weak, with an increase of less than 1% compared with 2023 in 24, due to no increase in production, the number of coffee available for export is expected to drop by 12% to 5.2 million bags for export.

In addition, Indonesia has also been affected by the currency exchange rate recently, all due to the continued strength of the US dollar.
