Recently, the Southern Metropolis Daily reported that a consumer in Shenzhen posted a complaint that when she went to an online celebrity cafe in Shenzhen, she was told that the store did not accept hair dye customers, which attracted the attention of many netizens.
According to the poster, shortly after she went to the online celebrity coffee shop, the clerk came to remind her that there were no hair dye customers in the shop because a leader would routinely check her grooming, and then the clerk changed a new position for her. Consumers said that at that time, another female customer in the coffee shop also received a reminder because she was wearing cave shoes.

The experience puzzled the customer, who posted her photos and saw two signs erected at the door of the coffee shop, one of which contained five warm tips about the coffee shop. the other says that the coffee shop is a "teaching supporting place", reminding customers to dress and behave.
However, the two signs in the store do not specify the specific requirements for guests' appearance, clothing, etc., nor do they mention that customers who dye their hair will be refused reception by the store.

The customer recalled that the clerk who came to remind her at that time had a good tone and could see that she was embarrassed, so she guessed that she was not deliberately crowding out her, perhaps because of the rules. However, the guest believes that if the cafe has unwritten rules for customers, it should clearly inform the specific requirements on the notice board at the door or on the third-party platform. She said that if she knew in advance, there would be no need for a special trip.
After the post was posted, some consumers who had been to the cafe also said that they were also rejected by the clerk because of their dress problems. "one summer I was told to wear slippers," and "summer skirts are not allowed above the knee."
In this regard, some netizens believe that since the cafe is an open place of business, it should receive visitors from all directions, rather than being "picky" to customers and shutting them out when they see people entering the door dye their hair, wear slippers or wear miniskirts.
However, some people think that since customers can choose the cafe they want to go to, the shopkeeper can also choose whether to receive guests or not. Some people point out that nowadays many coffee shops will post store rules indicating that they "do not accept children" or "strictly prohibit taking pictures," and that certain places also have dress codes for guests. From this point of view, they think that it is not too much for cafe operators to ask their customers.
In addition, some netizens pointed out that the reason why the coffee shop has requirements on the appearance, dress and behavior of its guests is that it has to abide by the relevant regulations of the college when it is opened in a certain college.
Store staff also appeared in the comment area, saying that the coffee shop itself did not have a door and could not be completely closed, so some unwitting foreign customers would enter the store to spend money. In the face of these guests, they can only remind them in a whisper, saying frankly that they are not crowding out customers who dye their hair.
A reporter from the Nandu Bay Finance Agency, who reported the incident, called the coffee shop and confirmed the staff's statement. Coffee shop responded that the brand does not discriminate against hair dye customers, because the place is limited, not ordinary external stores, so they have to have a certain dress code for consumers entering the door.
