Cameroon achieved a total output of about 20, 000 tons of coffee beans in the coffee harvest year 2013-2014
According to the website "invest in Cameroon" on November 3, the 2013-2014 coffee harvest year in Cameroon ended at the end of September 2014. according to the Cameroon National Office for Cocoa and Coffee (ONCC), the total coffee bean production in the 2013-2014 coffee harvest year was about 20, 000 tons (of which Rob beans accounted for 95% of the total production), down 5000 tons from the last adult coffee harvest of 25000 tons.
On the export side, during the adult harvest of Kha 2013-2014 coffee, the export volume of Calobst coffee beans reached 17247 tons, an increase of 2523 tons over the 14724 tons of the previous coffee harvest.
The actual output of Coffee is far from the planned output. According to the Coco and Coffee Industry restart Plan formulated by the government, the coffee industry needs to invest 600 billion CFA francs from 2015 to 2020, and strive to make the total output of Coffee reach 185000 tons by 2020. Among them, 150000 tons of Rob beans and 35000 tons of Arabica beans.
