On January 26, the three-day Pu'er Coffee Culture Festival ended perfectly with the "Pu'er Coffee Tour". During this Chinese coffee event, the high-quality coffee demonstration park in Manxieba, Nanping Town, Simao District, Yunnan Province, attracted people from all over the world to participate in the event.

As the first stop of the Pu'er coffee tour, Manheba Boutique Coffee Manor welcomed the world coffee leader, former president of SCAA (American Fine Coffee Association) and one of the founders of CQI (Coffee quality Research Institute), Mr. Ted Ringer and more than 20 Q-grade r (coffee bean tasters) from Asian countries. More than 30 contestants from 11 cities across the country have selected Pu'er Coffee and the finals of the third China Pu'er Cup World siphon Pot Competition and participated in the Pu'er Coffee Summit Forum and China Fine Coffee Raw Bean auction. More than 200 guests from the coffee industry and coffee lovers at home and abroad visited.

Chinese coffee looks at Yunnan, Yunnan coffee looks at Pu'er, good mountains, good water and good producing areas, and good coffee is grown. In 1958, Academician Cai Xitao and Wu Zhengyi opened the Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden on the banks of the Luosuo River to try to grow coffee. In the spring tide of market economy after the reform and opening up, the scientific and technological personnel of the Chinese Academy of Sciences used 20 years of dedication and persistence to lead coffee farmers to create a sacred coffee land in China.

The coffee tree planted in Mancheba Fine Coffee Manor is Arabica high-quality small-grain coffee, which is located in the south of the Tropic of Cancer at an altitude of 1000-1200 meters. Its unique natural geographical environment and climatic conditions of small-grain coffee gather the aura of heaven and earth, famous for its low consistency and fruit flavor, with uniform and full, bright luster, mellow aroma, moderate bitterness, bright fruit acid and so on. The manor has a 50-mu alpine variety garden of nearly 200 coffee varieties, and its planting process is scientifically controlled in strict accordance with ecological, green, pollution-free and other technical indicators and requirements, and the coffee beans are carefully selected and packaged.

In 1988, Kunming Branch of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the former Simao Administrative Office of Yunnan Province made full use of their talents, technology and resources to sign an economic and technological agreement project for the joint development of hot spots. The former high-quality coffee demonstration base established by Kunming Branch of Chinese Academy of Sciences and Simao District Administrative Office. Approved by the South Asia Office of the Ministry of Agriculture, Yunnan Provincial Hot Zone Office, Yunnan Agricultural Development Bank and the former "18 Office" of Simao area in 1997, it was used to guide the development of coffee industry in the whole hot area. and undertake a series of topics such as "large-scale high-yield cultivation and pest control of small-grain coffee in Simao area".

Scientific research and management personnel such as Kunming Branch of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Kunming Institute of Zoology, Kunming Institute of Botany, Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden, Pu'er Science and Technology Bureau, etc., have won several scientific and technological achievements awards for planting and processing related to the project. In the research and development of planting and processing, three national invention patents have been obtained: "a method of cultivating coffee seedlings", "a method of rapid recovery of frozen coffee plants" and "a method of balanced fertilization for the cultivation of small coffee". Five national utility model patents of "a kind of coffee bean air separator", "a kind of coffee bean gravity screening machine", "a kind of spiral elevator", a kind of coffee bean screening device "and" coffee bean shelling device " And obtained two national invention patents of "Cassia seed Lotus Leaf Coffee" and "Cordyceps sinensis Huang Jing Coffee" in the processing of finished products. In the processing aspect, the first experimental company introduced solar hot air drying technology.

In addition, the introduction of Indian sandalwood and the artificial cultivation of the rare medicine Swordleaf dragon tree in the coffee base were successful. the implementation of several cash crops and scientific research projects such as the experimental interplanting of "lampstand leaves" with medicinal value and the introduction of tropical fruit "avocado" with high nutritional value from Mexico. It has typical comprehensive benefits and scientific and technological demonstration in many aspects, such as improving land utilization rate, increasing farmers' income in many aspects, using tall trees to enhance the shade of coffee to facilitate its growth, and promoting the comprehensive cultivation of tropical biodiversity in Pu'er City and even Yunnan Province.

At present, "Pu'er Coffee" has been registered with China's National Geographic indication certification trademark and exported to more than 30 countries and regions, including North America, Europe, Japan and South Korea. In particular, on January 25, the first auction of Chinese fine coffee raw beans sold 2600 yuan per kilogram of fine beans, making Pu'er coffee synonymous with good coffee in China.
