Two sisters of Blue Mountain Coffee Shop
Ma Jiahui (Hong Kong)
After I moved six months ago, I was close to the office, so I especially liked to "eat meals at home." I invited workers to bring lunch boxes from home at noon every day, and injected the charcoal-roasted coffee made at home into thermos, so that I could eat and drink behind closed doors in order to recover my spirit. to cope with the busy work that continues to come in the afternoon.
But sometimes, on a sunny day, I looked out of the office window at the blue sky and white clouds. After eating the lunch boxes sent by the workers, I could not help but rush to drive to Sham Shui Po to "visit" the two sisters.
Are they two sisters or not? In fact, I am not sure, only vaguely remember reading an exclusive interview with gossip Weekly, it seems to be.
A pair of very tasty sisters, all thin and dyed with golden hair, are middle-aged. They all seem to have tattoos on their arms, as if they are weather-beaten, and like many Sham Shui Po neighborhoods, they have some secret stories. I forgot their last names, except that the shop they run is called Blue Mountain Coffee Shop.
So instead of "visiting" them, my real goal is their coffee.
If such a shop is set up in such an area, it must be admitted that it is a bit out of place at some time. Blue Mountain is a boutique of coffee, to correct the name in this name, should be a high-end route, not to mention Java, Colombia, Brazil, Manning …... All kinds of famous coffee are supplied, which is completely out of harmony with the narrowness and chaos of the store. Such stores should only provide Hong Kong-style fast food such as "silk stockings and milk tea" and "pineapple oil". Neighbors come to eat and drink in slippers and T-shirts, foaming and foul language, which suits the atmosphere. As a matter of fact, according to my patronage and observation on several occasions, the sparse customers who showed up in the shop were all grassroots citizens dressed in this way. They just sat down and said "I want coffee" instead of "I want a cup of xx coffee". Obviously, there is no requirement or expectation for coffee in the cup. in their eyes, this small shop is no different from all other cafes, and their greatest contribution is to let them eat at the lowest price.
But it's not. A pair of sisters, perhaps for some persistence, or for some karma, settle down in rivers and lakes and share recommended coffee with grassroots neighborhoods. those who know the goods come, but those who do not know the goods, please go away. Such a store, such a shopkeeper, regardless of success or failure, is finally worthy of the word "cool".
I haven't been to the Blue Mountain Coffee Shop for a while, but it's hard to say if I'm still there. It is not easy for shops in Hong Kong to operate. In particular, it is a miracle that shops in Hong Kong can last for a year. After all, it is difficult for Hong Kong to tolerate coffee, so only Taipei and Tokyo are the only places where coffee people identify with their hometown. For the sake of a hint of coffee aroma, it is worth forgiving themselves for their luxury.
