Nestl é Japan entered the canned coffee market in 1974 and signed an exclusive sales contract with Otsuka Food since 1990. However, Otsuka Group recently partnered with Asahi on the sale of drinks, using each other's own drink vending machines to expand the market. Among them, Otsuka Pharmaceutical's vending machine will sell canned coffee "WONDA" of Asahi beverage. In this way, the cooperation between Nestl é Japan and Otsuka has come to an end.

Nestl é Japan on the future coffee sales said: "do not rigidly adhere to the form, hope to flexibly use the appeal of Nestle coffee brand to carry out sales."
