Pu'er Speed up Coffee Industry
By 2016, the coffee planting area in Pu 'er City will reach 1 million mu, the output will be about 100,000 tons, and the comprehensive output value of the coffee industry will reach 10 billion yuan." Yunnan Pu 'er City coffee office director Lu Han introduced said. Up to now, Pu 'er City has completed coffee planting area of 600,000 mu and put into production of 270,000 mu. At present, there are more than 70 coffee enterprises registered in Pu' er City and 12 coffee enterprises with export qualification.
However, in 2008, the coffee planting area of Yunnan Province was only 390,000 mu. In recent years, the coffee industry in Pu 'er City has developed at an alarming speed. In Lu Han's opinion, we should plan the whole industry chain for the coffee industry in Pu' er City. For now, Pu 'er is the main coffee producing area with the largest coffee planting area, high coffee yield and best quality in China.
