Construction of the whole industry chain of fine coffee in Lincang, Yunnan
Li Xiaoping, secretary of the Lincang Municipal CPC Committee, said in an interview with the China Economic Times that Lincang will rely on the brand of "China Lincang Fine Coffee Bean demonstration Zone" and strive to promote the construction of Lincang coffee industry in accordance with the requirements of ecology, sustainable, high quality, high yield, and low-carbon environmental protection.
By the end of 2013, the planting area of coffee in Lincang City has reached 550000 mu, and the area of hanging fruit has increased year by year. It is expected that the coffee output will exceed 100000 tons by 2020, rapidly stepping into the ranks of the main coffee producing areas in China. Accordingly, Lincang City will build a high-quality coffee bean demonstration zone with high standards, a high starting point and a scientific standard, and build a high-quality coffee brand in all directions.
Wang Kuirong, director of the Agricultural Bureau of Lincang City, told reporters that Lincang City is located in the gold belt of world coffee production, with a forest coverage rate of 65.2%. There is no industrial waste gas pollution, and the coffee produced is ecological, high quality, and safe.
In Shifoshan, on the west bank of the Happy Coffee planting demonstration Park on the bank of the Nanting River in Happiness Town, Yunxian County, the reporter saw that on the terrace converted from sloping land, coffee and nuts, which had been planted for only two years, were growing better and were already blooming and fruiting. Coffee garden irrigation ditches, pipe networks, and agricultural transportation networks crisscross. The surrounding terraced slopes are also full of coffee and supporting the planting of nuts and other plants.
Tang Yongfei, head of Yunxian County, told reporters that the planting area of coffee in Yunxian County has reached 100000 mu, of which Happiness Town has planted 29000 mu of coffee in the past two years alone, and coffee will become a new pillar industry in Yunxian County in the future.
Wang Kuirong told reporters that Lincang City basically built coffee gardens according to the model of Happiness Town Shifoshan, which are standard coffee gardens of hundreds of mu, thousands of mu and interplanting shade trees such as nuts.
At the Yunxian Happy boutique Coffee Manor of Lincang Lingfeng Coffee Industry Development Co., Ltd., the reporter saw that in the coffee variety exhibition garden, there are domestic and foreign small-grain coffee, medium-grain coffee, large-grain coffee multi-category and multi-variety display. The newly built boutique coffee bean processing plant uses back pressure hot air assisted penetration drying to process boutique coffee beans, which is a new technology successfully tested and studied by Lingfeng Company for three years.
As to how to polish the business card of Lincang coffee, Wang Kuirong told the reporter confidently that while expanding the coffee planting area, Lincang City is improving the eco-agricultural system of the coffee garden, expanding the base, strengthening the industry, optimizing the products, and making the brand famous, so as to make the "China Lincang Fine Coffee Bean demonstration Zone" famous all over the world and promote Lincang boutique coffee products to the whole country and the world.
In the past two years, Lincang City has implemented the model of "company + base + cooperative + peasant household + science and technology". 850 professional coffee cooperatives have been established, and the coffee planting area has expanded rapidly. Coffee cultivation in Lincang City involves 57 townships, 55000 farmers and nearly 200000 people. Farmers have been transferred to contract land to grow 300000 mu of coffee, and 26000 farmers have become professional farmers.
Wang Kuirong told reporters that where coffee is grown in Lincang City and where is the agricultural infrastructure. The coffee garden basically achieves water sources, ditches, pipe networks, the transformation of low-and medium-yield fields, and the matching of agricultural transportation network. At the same time, promote high-standard planting, ecological development, manor economic leadership, standardized processing, product quality can be traced back.
