Arzberg Town, whose full name is Porzellanfabrik Arzberg, is famous all over the world for its strong design style. The world's first porcelain factory was established in 18-38 and became a global pioneer in porcelain production. Arzberg brand was officially established in 1887 and Arzberg joined Hutschenr-euther AG Group, the largest porcelain tableware maker in Europe in 1972. Durability is one of the features of Arzberg, such as adding a non-slip edge to the cup / plate edge, so that the bottom of the cup fits completely with the mouth of the cup when stacking. Its high-tech "underglaze color" production technology enables its products to be used in dishwashers or microwave ovens.

The bird in the picture above is called D-Bird, and the name of this series is "Free Flight" (this cup is also used on the cover of the book "drinking Coffee on a swing"). Its shape (Cult series) is designed by the famous German architect Dr.Dieter sieger, who is famous for his yacht design in high society in Europe. This series takes architecture as the inspiration for his creation, showing simple shapes and neat lines. After its launch, it swept Europe and won a number of design awards in Hanover and Frankfurt. The original design is Dr.David Palterer, he is good at architectural design, industrial design and artistic creation, this "Free Flight" series shows deep meaning with simple lines, and won him the German "DesignInnovation1996" Outstanding Design Award.

Rosenthal ROSENTHAL is developed by Philip. Sir Rosenthal was founded in 1879 in the German state of Bavaria and established the company in Selb, a small German town that rapidly developed into the center of the European ceramic and crystal industry. In the 1960 s, Rosenthal was in Philip. Under the management of Rosenthai II, he became a listed company and later became one of the five famous brands of fine ceramics and crystal utensils in the world. During this period, he decided on the development of studio-linie (boutique series). He believed that through the excellent creation of first-class designers, he could convey "the concept and essence of contemporary art and culture". Since then, Rosenthai has contracted with numerous international well-known designers to create high-end tableware with both forward-looking and historical traditions.

The products are divided into:

Rosenthal (Rosenthai series): take the contemporary taste as the design orientation, concretely show the contemporary life taste. Rosenthal studio-linie (Rosenthai boutique series): most of the materials are all-ceramic, and the works are meticulous masterpieces by well-known contemporary artists, which are guided by modern design and limited release, and are of great collection value.

Rosenthal classic (Rosenthai Classical Series): the material is mostly pearl porcelain (pearlchina), with European royal and aristocratic taste as the design orientation, specifically expressing exquisite and elegant traditional taste.

Thomas (Thomas series): family restaurant utility-oriented design, is a lively and functional products.

The milk bottle pictured above is "Mytho" (mythology series), its original designer is Paul Wunderlich, German, now 70 years old, internationally renowned ivory jade carving artist, joined Rosenthai as a surrealist exclusive designer in 1987, and is now deputy creative director. This styling series is Rosenthai's masterpiece in the past 10 years and is most favored by collectors.

IKARUS series

The shape of the cup above is the IKARUS series created by Paul Wunderlich, while the pattern is the "Medusa" (Gorgon) series, whose designer is the famous Gianni Versace, Italian, born in 1946, became famous in Milan Fashion Exhibition in 1978, became a world-famous fashion designer, became the exclusive designer of Rosenthai in 1992, and was unfortunately shot to death in 1997.

Medusa in Greek mythology:

Medusa (Medusa), one of the Gorgon (elder brothers, three sisters and banshees), was originally a beautiful girl with beautiful hair and was loved by Poseidon, the brother of Zeus, but she was envied by Princess Pushton and turned into an ugly girl with a clump of snake hair, pig teeth, bronze hands and flying golden wings. All the people will turn to stone as soon as they look at her, but she is the only one of the three sisters who is not immortal. Later, Perseus, the son of Zeus, was ordered by Polidictus to take the head of Medusa. With the help of Athena (the goddess of wisdom and the patron saint of Athens), the head of Medusa was successfully obtained by the mirror reflection of a bronze shield. Her head was later dedicated to Athena and embedded in the center of the goatskin shield in her hand. The ancient Greeks painted Medusa's head on a plate to achieve the effect of promoting good fortune and avoiding evil.

Versace follows this design and applies it to the cutlery set of the Medusa series. It has the meaning of protecting the dining table. The use of this pattern on other products (clothes, wine glasses, etc.) has become a popular product of Versace.

Versace developed his love of classics to porcelain pattern design, using rich imagination and full control of art patterns to create unique works: Medusa (Gorgon) series of IKARUS modeling series, Barocco (baroque) series, Les Tresors Ia Mer (treasure of the sea) series, Le Jardin des Papillons (butterfly garden) series. And the use of POLYGON (polygon) modeling series of Le Roi Soleil (Sun King), Le Voyage de Marco Polo (Marco Polo travels) series (see the picture above, the picture is a peacock). In the early stage, the colors are bright, the patterns are complicated and gorgeous, but in the late stage, they tend to be simple.

Sub-brand THOMAS products.

The designer is Nina Campbell, British, the internationally renowned interior designer who designed the "British country house style". The first two pictures are "& # 39; o sole mio" (my Sun) series styling design for MetteoThun, Italian, professor of Italian Institute of Product Design and Ceramic Arts, with high musical literacy, good at a variety of musical instruments, and often published paintings. Its "& # 39; o sole mio" series has nine sets of patterns, with nine artists conveying the brightness of the Italian sun and Naples' love of life. The disk symbolizes the protruding design of Italy's famous Mount Vesuvius and nostalgia for the birthplace of Naples espresso culture.

Cupola series

Cupola series

The cupola series is designed as Mario Bellini, and the protruding ring design on the disk prevents the cup from slipping. This is a right-handed cup and a limited number of left-handed standard cups.

It's very Picasso.
