What is a French kettle?

The French filter pot is the simplest and cheapest way to brew coffee. The utility model relates to a simple brewing apparatus which is composed of a heat-resistant glass bottle and a metal filter with a pressure bar. Its working principle is to soak the coffee, and then press the coffee dregs down with a metal filter with a pressure bar to get the coffee with a full taste. Even if you are new to coffee, you can quickly start making a decent cup of coffee.

What is the Smart Cup?

The key to the cleverness of the filter cup lies in the design of the "piston valve" at the bottom of the filter cup. What's the difference between a French kettle and a coffee brewed from a smart cup?

The two brewing methods use the same water temperature, coffee grindability and powder-water ratio. The steps for making coffee in the smart cup are as follows: fold the filter paper into the smart cup, put the smart cup on the container, and preheat the appliance when wetting the filter paper with hot water. Then move the smart cup to the electronic scale (when the valve closes automatically) and pour the ground coffee into the center of the filter cup.

In the first stage, inject 30g of hot water, press the timer and steam for 30 seconds; after steaming, pour hot water to 225g, then soak 1 cup. After soaking, move the smart cup to the container to open the valve and filter out the coffee liquid in the filter cup. The steps of soaking in the kettle are as follows: pour 15g coffee powder into the kettle, prepare 225g hot water to pour into the pot, pump the pressure rod, close the lid and wait for 4 minutes. The fat of coffee increases its mellow thickness and smoothness, and makes the flavor softer and more balanced.
