Coffee exports in Central and South America stabilize
The National Coffee Association of Guatemala (Anacafe) said today that Central America, Mexico, Colombia, Peru and Dominica in October.
Coffee exports increased by 4.5% over the same period last year.
October is the first month of the coffee harvest year. According to statistics, the total export volume of coffee from the above-mentioned countries in October was 1947,884 bags (60.
Kilograms), compared with the export volume of 29.37 million bags in the whole season of last harvest year.
The annual harvest of coffee is calculated from October to September of the following year.
At present, the coffee production of Central American countries and Mexico accounts for almost 1x5 of the world's total coffee production.
