World's second largest coffee company enters Vietnam
Mondelez International, the world's second-largest coffee company, has opened its first farmer training center in Vietnam to help Vietnamese coffee growers improve their planting methods and increase production.

The center, called Happy Coffee making, plans to provide free training courses for 1500 coffee growers in Vietnam to help them improve the output of coffee crops and the quality of coffee bean products, Vietnamese media reported on the 8th.
Mundrez International Foods has pledged to invest at least $200m in this "Happy Coffee making" sustainable development project to help 1 million coffee growers and coffee companies in Vietnam by 2020.
Hubert Weber, chairman of Mundrez International Foods, said the program will focus on helping Vietnamese farmers become more successful entrepreneurs and improve their coffee production and business skills by working with partners.
Mundrez International Foods, formed after a spin-off by Kraft Foods, is currently the world's largest buyer of Vietnamese coffee. With the establishment of the new center in Vietnam, Vietnamese coffee will be able to meet 100% of Mundrez's sales plan by 2015.
