Catechins improve the ability of fat burning

Scientists found that subjects who took a daily supplement of decaffeinated green tea extract (571mg) increased the oxidation rate of fat by 24.9% and decreased body fat by 1.63% after four weeks. In other studies, when rats were given green tea extract before and after exercise, scientists also found that green tea can increase the antioxidant function of red blood cells, which is more conducive to the improvement of aerobic endurance and health during exercise.

It is generally recommended that you drink it an hour before exercise. However, drinking green tea is not recommended after training.
