At the 2016 Geek Park Innovation Conference GIF, Li Jing, Dai Jun and the company leader of serial entrepreneur and angel investor (Wang Jiang) appeared in the form of cross-border groups to launch the co-founded coffee brand-Coffee Box.

Unlike the three star partners of Star VC, Li Jing, who sold her controlling stake in Lefeng to VIPSHOP at the beginning of 2014 for $112.5 million, had enough Internet start-up experience.
At first, Coffee Box was an investment project recommended by Li Jing to Dai Jun, his old partner who hosted the "super visit" for 16 years.

According to Li Jing, she and Wang Jiang knew each other earlier, and she had not set up Star Venture Capital at that time. Later, when he learned that Wang Jiang had founded Lian Coffee, he "encouraged" Dai Jun to become an angel investor.

Wang Jiang, who is called a "company commander" by Li Jing and Dai Jun, is CEO, co-founder of Coffee Box and flight housekeeper, LP of Star Venture Capital initiated by Li Jing, and invested in UC browser and Meituan as an angel investor.
After Dai Jun invested in Angel Wheel, Star Venture Capital founded by Li Jing participated in Coffee Box's Pre-A round financing, so Coffee Box became the first project for the two people to invest together.
A coffee brand that started with Starbucks delivery
Before founding the Coffee Box brand, Wang Jiang had been in the coffee delivery business for three years-even coffee.
According to Wang Jiang, Lian Coffee originally made coffee O2O, only as a Starbucks purchasing agent, and now Lian Coffee has made its own brand Coffee Box. In the current Red Sea market for coffee delivery, Lian Coffee has begun to spin off Starbucks delivery services and switch to Coffee Box delivery services.
"since Lian Coffee was founded three years ago, I have been planning to launch my own coffee brand, Starbucks." Wang Jiang revealed that before doing Coffee Box, he went to Starbucks every day to see how many people drank coffee in the store, how many people took away, and what flavor of coffee everyone liked.
Later, 30% of Wang Jiangfa's people now choose coffee to take away, compared with 70% in some cities in hot spots, such as Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou. After accumulating enough users through Starbucks' delivery business, Lian Coffee began to switch to its own brand Coffee Box.
"by providing delivery services for Starbucks, we can understand where the take-out coffee users are, whether they are male or female, which office building they are in, what flavor they drink, American style or latte, what kind of temperature, and how long it will be delivered to consumers will be more satisfied." Wang Jiang explained to the reporter of China Business Daily.
According to the data released by Wang Jiang, Coffee Box now has nearly 30 production sites in Shanghai, covering most of the hot business areas, and the number of production sites in Beijing and Guangzhou will exceed 20 after the Spring Festival. It is estimated that Coffee Box will have 500 coffee production sites across the country by the end of 2016.
China's coffee consumption market is ushering in an order of magnitude of growth, and there is still a lot of room for the existing market to be far away from the 2 trillion to 3 trillion shares of the mature market. "We want to make a coffee brand that we can produce and deliver quickly, and make a closed loop of coffee." Wang Jiang explained.
Halo of star investors
From the financing point of view, Coffee Box has previously received including Zhong Ding Venture Capital, Star Venture Capital Fund and angel investment from Dai Jun. Among them, Zhong Ding Venture Capital is the most professional logistics investment organization in China, and has invested in Debang Logistics, Aixianbee and so on.
Xingchuang, led by Li Jing, Na Ying, Jiang Wenli, Liang Jing, Dai Jun, Zhou Hang, company commander and Zhong Ding Venture Capital, is an investment fund jointly launched by Li Jing, Na Ying, Jiang Wenli, Liang Jing, etc., in addition to Coffee Box, it has also invested in nail polish brand Miss candy and the catering new projects of the founder of Yunhai cuisine.
Therefore, the publicity effect of stars has become a bright spot in the early expansion of Coffee Box.
It is understood that when Coffee Box was born, the first experience users were the entertainment circle friends of Li Jing and Dai Jun.
As an angel investor in even coffee, Dai Jun will get a cup of Coffee Box coffee wherever he goes. And Li Jing's star venture capital as even coffee's Pre-A round investor, also takes the star venture capital's LP: na Ying, Jiang Wenli, Liang Jing and so on for the Coffee Box platform. Li Jing also revealed that when Na Ying was recording The Voice of China, she gave it to Jay Chou with coffee in order to help Coffee Box promote it.
Li Jing previously opened a new Beautiful Coffee experience Store at the old Shanghai wharf, but the location is relatively partial and the flow of people is very small, but Coffee Box has brought a lot of passenger flow to this store. Because Coffee Box can radiate the surrounding consumers, it can sell 200 cups of coffee a day, and the beauty shop will share it with Coffee Box, which makes up for the small amount of make-up consumers.
However, according to Wang Jiang, coffee is a very profitable commodity. A cup of 25 yuan coffee may cost only 5 yuan, and a cup of coffee can make a profit of 20 yuan.
