A total of 20 students participated in the project, who spent nine months developing and building drones to show that drones can be an essential part of modern life. The drone was named "Blue Jay". It looks like a white flying saucer with a glowing belt. It hovers over the tables to receive orders from customers.
The drone scans the customer's order and can begin to process the order after the scan is completed, Tessie said. After the order is ready to be completed, another unmanned aircraft will deliver the contents of the order ordered by the customer.
A set of folding clips are installed under the drone body to enable it to complete "serving" tasks, proving that drones can perform delicate tasks, such as transporting medicine or tracking thieves. It is reported that each drone costs about 2000 euros, is equipped with sensors and has a long battery life.
"We believe that in the future, household drones will become a part of daily life and even friends of human beings," said one project participant. "
