Japan's Minghe Industry will sell the feed to livestock farmers across the country from this autumn at a price of only 6 to 7 yen per kilogram.
It is understood that about 100000 tons of coffee grounds are produced in Japan every year. Due to the high moisture content and perishability, they were used as compost before.
