In early summer, under the shade of the trees, there is a mottled and broken light and shadow. Push open the old Japanese house behind the tree, and the strong aroma of coffee floats out. This is a wooden cabin with a history of more than 90 years. It was originally owned by Japanese photographer Yoshiro Sasaki, and later became the dormitory of the police unit in Taipei. now it is home to the Green Island Serenade Cafe.

A wooden floor, bamboo wall, rain board. The construction of the old house is all there. On the first floor is a cafe and on the second floor is the architect's boss's studio. Encounter the rainy season, order a cup of signature "Green Island Serenade" coffee, sweet and faint smell of milk wine accompanied by the rustling of leaves outside the window, the memory seems to go back to a long time ago.
