However, Starbucks wireless charging service may only work for certain mobile phone brands, because there is no unified wireless charging standard in the world, and the most commonly used standards are PMA and Qi, while Starbucks wireless charging service uses the PMA standard, so this means that only six brands of phones, namely Samsung, Huawei, HTC, LG, AT&T and BlackBerry, can be charged wirelessly at Starbucks.
