The 26th World Coffee Science Congress kicked off in Kunming on the 13th. About 400 people from nearly 60 countries and regions gathered in Spring City to taste Yunnan coffee fragrance. By the beginning of this year, the coffee planting area in China exceeded 1.8 million mu, with a total output of more than 140,000 tons, accounting for 1.5% of the world's total output. Yunnan coffee planting area was 1.77 million mu, with a total output of 139,000 tons. Yunnan coffee planting area and output accounted for more than 99% of the country's total. Coffee has become Yunnan's third largest export commodity with plateau characteristics.
