Supported by scientific and standardized coffee storage facilities and advanced coffee trading, logistics system, technical support and financial services, the center strives to build a land-based trading center and industrial platform that serves farmers and enterprises. In addition, the center also uses modern electronic information technology to provide "one-stop" transaction services that integrate information, display, auction, settlement, warehousing, logistics financing and other services.

This forum will show Yunnan Coffee Trading Center to guests at home and abroad, set up a communication platform for cooperation and exchange between coffee producing areas and Asian sales areas, build a direct bridge with the international market, and promote the fragrance of Yunnan coffee at home and abroad. The forum will last for two days, during which coffee roasting equipment and utensils will be displayed and exchanged, Yunnan coffee cup test will be held, and Pu'er coffee producing areas will be visited and instructed.

At the launching ceremony, Yunnan Coffee Trading Center signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Ikam, one of the largest traders in the world, to jointly promote new varieties in Yunnan, the construction of an information management system from seeds to cups, and the purchase and sales of raw beans, which marks a solid step forward in the international operation of Yunnan Coffee Trading Center as a third-party public service platform.

Wang Min, director of the Yunnan Provincial Department of Agriculture, said in a speech at the forum that in 2015, Yunnan had a planting area of 1.77 million mu and an output of 130000 tons, ranking first in China. China is one of the countries with the fastest growth in coffee consumption in the world, with great potential. Yunnan will promote the transformation and upgrading of the coffee industry, promote the construction of the coffee industry chain complex, and strive to build Yunnan into an internationally renowned base of high-quality coffee raw materials, the largest coffee processing center in China and the coffee trading center in Asia.

On the morning of the 10th, the international high-end forum of Chinese boutique coffee (roasting) and the regional launching ceremony of Roast magazine in Asia were held. More than 100 experts and government representatives from the coffee industry in China, the United States, Singapore and Taiwan gathered at the Yunnan Coffee Trading Center in Pu'er, the "Coffee Capital of China", to discuss the intensive processing of coffee and promote the development of Yunnan coffee industry.

At the forum, coffee industry insiders such as Ted Lingle, Senior Advisor of the Coffee quality Society, Robert Osgood, Doctor of Agronomy, Li Xueming, CEO of GIESEN China, and William Kennedy, owner and Chairman of San Francisco Roaster Company, communicated with representatives of Chinese coffee companies on topics such as coffee community, boutique coffee roasting, roasting business development, and how to purchase coffee of origin.
