Heilongjiang "Coffee" goes to South America to grow Coffee beans: to build Chinese Coffee Brand
Harbin, the capital of northern Xinjiang, has settled in more than 400 cafes in the past three years, with a monthly coffee consumption of about 60 tons. Di Guochen, chairman of the coffee industry and communication alliance of Heilongjiang Province, told reporters, "with the arrival of coffee brands in Europe, the United States and South Korea, Harbin has quietly transformed into a city of coffee culture in recent years."
Di Guochen, who has lived in Brazil for many years, is well aware of the gold content of South American coffee beans. "at present, most of the coffee beans available in the Chinese market come from Yunnan and Hainan, and there are not many high-quality coffee beans." Coffee beans are cooked and tasted best in about 7 days after roasting. If the Alliance grows coffee in South America and coffee beans are roasted and listed in Harbin, people can not only taste fresher, higher quality and much cheaper coffee, but also lead Harbin to become another distribution center for the trading of raw coffee beans in China after Hainan and Yunnan.
The alliance has reached an inspection intention with a large farm with a total area of 400 hectares in Argentina's Heihe province. "the farmers cooperating on the Argentine side are overseas Chinese, and through my multi-party coordination, we have reached an initial intention. The next step is to see how many people on the Chinese side invest." Di Guochen said: at present, six member units are ready to sign up for an inspection tour in Afghanistan, and a delegation will be organized in March. After growing coffee beans in Argentina, setting up a roasting plant in Harbin and introducing Brazilian roasting technology will create China's own coffee brand.
It is reported that after the coffee grown in South America in Heilongjiang is sold back to Harbin, it can be stored in the comprehensive bonded area. Russia, Japan, South Korea and other neighboring countries all have the tradition of drinking coffee, but they do not grow coffee. Harbin will carry out coffee export and re-export trade to these countries to promote the in-depth development of China's coffee industry.
