Taiwan Wangwang Group went to Baoshan City, Yunnan Province to investigate coffee economy and tropical forest fruits.
From 13 to 14 March, accompanied by Shi Xiaolan, deputy director of the Economic Department of the Provincial Taiwan Affairs Office, and Xu Congquan, director of the Taiwan Affairs Office of Baoshan City, Cai Shaoyun, general manager of the Shenwang holding Catering chain of Taiwan Wangwang Group, and his party visited and inspected.
During a visit to the Tropical and Subtropical Economic crops Research Institute of Yunnan Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Luo Xinping, deputy director of the institute, introduced in detail the planting scale, variety classification, and economic benefits of tropical cash crops in Baoshan for Cai Shaoyun and his entourage. The two sides discussed and analyzed in depth the production, marketing and development prospects of tropical cash crops such as mango, longan, sugarcane, and other tropical cash crops shared by Taiwan and Baoshan.
Subsequently, Cai Shaoyun and his entourage came to Lianxing Tropical crop Development (Yunnan) Co., Ltd., Mr. Cao Cunli, the person in charge of the company, led Cai Shao and his entourage from the coffee nursery to the planting base. Mr. Cao Cunli made a site visit to the screening, drying and processing workshop. Mr. Cao Cunli introduced the development status of the company in detail. You are invited to taste the coffee varieties that won the second place in the first Gaoligong Mountain tourist Resort Coffee Raw Bean Competition, as well as several tropical fruits unique to Baoshan. It also discussed the breeding, planting, processing and marketing of coffee, as well as the development prospect of coffee industry and the space for cooperation between the two sides.
Through on-site visits, General Manager Cai Shaoyun and her entourage have developed a strong interest in Baoshan coffee and tropical economic forest fruits. She said that she will take this visit and inspection activities as an opportunity to find effective ways to jointly promote and realize long-term exchanges and cooperation in agricultural special products between Taiwan and Baoshan.
