The owner of a coffee shop in Suzhou used the wine holder fraud to be found out and hurt the customer.
Recently, the Yiqiao District Court concluded a provocation and trouble case. The victim was tricked into spending more than 1000 yuan in a coffee shop after meeting his Wechat friends. When the victim felt cheated and approached the coffee shop owner for a theory, he was beaten with a swinging stick.
The court found out that on the afternoon of April 21, 2016, Xu (handled in a separate case) conspired with others to defraud the victim Zhang in the form of a wine receptacle at a coffee shop in Beiguan, Yiqiao District. When Zhang found that he had been cheated, he and his friend Han looked for Xu's theory. Xu gathered defendants Sun, Dong, and others to beat Zhang and Han with swinging sticks, causing minor injuries to both of them. On May 18, 2016, the defendants Sun and Dong were arrested and brought to justice. The court held that defendants Sun and Dong conspired with others to arbitrarily beat others with arms, causing minor injuries to two people, and their actions constituted the crime of seeking provocation and stirring up trouble; the relatives of the defendant Dong so-and-so compensated for the economic losses of the victim Han and obtained an understanding, and may be given a lighter punishment as appropriate. In the end, the court sentenced the defendant Sun to one year and four months' imprisonment according to law, and the defendant Dong to one year and three months' imprisonment.
