With a brand value of 11.136 billion yuan, "Pu'er Coffee" has become one of the top 10 agricultural regional brands and the only coffee finalist, ranking seventh on the list.
It is understood that in November 2014, the AQSIQ approved Pu'er City to establish a "National Coffee Industry well-known Brand Establishment demonstration Zone", which is the only "National well-known Brand Establishment demonstration Zone" in China's coffee industry. Since its establishment, the relevant departments of our city have promoted the application of advanced planting and processing technology, introduced advanced quality management model, continuously improved the quality management level of enterprises, and consolidated the foundation for the development of coffee industry. At the same time, through carrying out activities to strengthen brand promotion, further improve the popularity and reputation of Pu'er coffee, and promote the healthy development of the coffee industry, the establishment work has achieved initial results. At present, the planting area of coffee in the city has reached 767000 mu, which has been put into production of 471800 mu, with an output of 49500 tons and a total output value of 1.7 billion yuan. it has exported 31180 tons of coffee with a foreign exchange earnings of 73 million US dollars, which has been exported to more than 30 countries and regions in the Americas, Europe and Asia. In 2020, Pu'er will be built into the world's high-quality coffee bean raw material base, China's largest coffee finishing base and coffee logistics center.
