Course brief

The SCAA Brista Coffee Master (Barista) first-level certification course will be held at Guangzhou Coffee Lab (Guangzhou Coffee Salon training Center) from July 21 to 23. This course revolves around the basic skills of baristas. The course covers the basics and skills of coffee preparation, customer service and common sense. The level 1 course assignments provide certification procedures for basic skills and knowledge to become professional baristas and BGA collaboration. Introduce SCAA qualification and run through the whole training process. Training courses are open to anyone and there is no threshold for entry.

Trevor's coffee career began when he was fascinated by the coffee culture of cafes at school in 2001 and became obsessed with the pleasant experience of fine coffee. his love of coffee has also promoted the growth of many cafes across the Midwest. The Madcap Coffee Company, founded in 2008 in Grand Rapids, Michigan, is the result of his constant struggle and challenge over the years. Since 2008, Trevor has participated in various Barista (barista) competitions and has won the top 6 in the regional Barista (barista) competitions for five years in a row. In 2011, he won the fourth place in the American Barista Competition, almost close to the third place.

While managing his own Madcap Coffee Company, Trevor serves as president of the American Coffee Association, a professional mentor for SCAA, a subject matter expert in the field of SCAA Italian concentration, an editorial consultant for Brista magazine, and a contributor to Fresh Cup magazine. Trevor now lives in Washington, overseeing and directing the expansion of Madcap's chain of stores in Washington, where he enjoys a good time with his wife and three daughters after work.
