Huapin Wenchuang recently published the book "the aftermath is not over." the author is Wang Sen, the head of the coffee shop. Ten years ago, he opened a "staggered Cafe" in Beijing, mainland China, hoping to interpret that "jagged polymorphism is the source of happiness." As for why he started writing, Wang Sen said to himself:

April 11, 2007 is the tenth anniversary of Mr. Wang Xiaobo's death. On that morning, at Renmin University in Beijing, I was attending the launching ceremony of "returning to Xiaobo Road". In the afternoon, he Xiaoxiao: Bo's widow, Ms. Li Yinhe, and more than a dozen people flew from Beijing to Kunming. The next day, they rented a car from Kunming and went through Ruili to Longchuan to find the state-run farm that Wang Xiaobo had delegated. Two trees were planted outside the dormitory window where Xiaobo lived.

May 13, 2007 is Wang Xiaobo's birthday. I was also in Beijing. At the door of a small cafe at the south gate of Weigong Village University of Technology, I hung the name of "staggered coffee" on my first cafe. This day is regarded as the birthday of "jagged coffee". The name "stagger" comes from Russell's saying, "know, stagger polymorphism is the source of happiness." Wang Xiaobo likes this sentence very much. I read this sentence in Xiaobo's book, and I also like it very much, so because Wang Xiaobo has "stagger coffee", jagged coffee will soon be ten years old in a twinkling of an eye.

"unfinished aftermath" is the name of this book and also the name of my cafe in Taipei. The cafe, located at 9 Lane 128, Section 3, Roosevelt Road, Taipei, opened on February 12, 2015, and the name "aftermath" was thought of in 2012, the 15th anniversary of Xiaobo's death. At that time, I wanted to use "unfinished aftermath" as the title of a book, the same motivation as now. It was just that the title of the book was decided, but he dared not write because of awe, so five years passed in the blink of an eye. On the contrary, the cafe, named after the premeditated title of the book, "aftermath", opened first.

This year, April 11, 2017 is the 20th anniversary of Wang Xiaobo's death. Based on my gratitude to Xiaobo, I felt I had to do something, so I dared to write during the Spring Festival and completed the "aftermath". The motivation is, of course, to hope that more people will meet Wang Xiaobo, because he is so interesting! As for why I keep thinking about Wang Xiaobo, I have said a lot in the new book, which should be made clear. Of course, adhering to the spirit of Wang Xiaobo, I don't think my standards and preferences can be extended to others. It's too overbearing, and Xiaobo won't like it. I just want to wish you all to meet the Wang Xiaobo in your life as soon as possible.
