Myanmar plans to complete 200000 acres of coffee acres

According to the Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Irrigation, Myanmar will complete 200000 acres of coffee acres between 2018 and 2020, and plans to produce 60, 000 tons of quality coffee by 2030. According to statistics from the Trade Department of the Myanmar Ministry of Commerce, Myanmar exported 506 tons of coffee in the 2011-2012 fiscal year, 622 tons in the 2012-2013 fiscal year, 1153 tons in the 2013-2014 fiscal year, 1157 tons in the 2014-2015 fiscal year and 1,137 tons in the 2013-16 fiscal year. The main export targets are Switzerland, China, Thailand, the United States, South Korea, Japan, Germany and other countries.
