Cafe Latte

Latte, also known as fresh milk coffee (Italian: caff è latte) is one of many Italian lattes. In the English-speaking world, latte is the abbreviation of caff è latte, which generally refers to coffee made from hot fresh milk. The French word lait is synonymous with the Italian word latte, which means milk. Caff è Latte is the so-called coffee with milk, which is usually directly transliterated as "latte" or even "latte" or "Natti". As for the French meaning of cafe au lait, which means coffee (caf é) added to (au) milk (lait), it is commonly referred to as "coffee O'Lei" or "O'Lei coffee" (or Onle coffee).

It was not until the 1980s that the term latte was used outside Italy. A typical latte consists of 1/3 espresso and 2/3 fresh milk, usually without foam. It has more fresh milk flavor than cappuccino.

Coffee flower pull

The coffee flower drawing process is in progress.

When pouring fresh milk into a coffee cup, the barista can draw a pattern in the cup with the slightest movement of his wrist, which has become an art.

3D solid flower drawing

The three-dimensional flower began to appear about 2009. The beauty and endurance of three-dimensional flower drawing are closely related to the supporting capacity of coffee and the cotton density of milk foam.

Because of its lovely appearance, it is now very popular with young boys and girls. In Hong Kong, Allegretto, which specializes in 3D lace coffee, is the most famous.

Politics

In Western cultures in Europe and the United States, calling some people "latte drinkers" (latte drinkers) has become a common political attack. Espresso drinkers in big cities are regarded by some as elitist behavior (elitist behavior). In the United States, conservative political commentators often refer to the opposite as the "liberal elite drinking lattes" (latte-drinking liberal elites) [2] [3] [4] [5].

In the current American political context, latte has a special meaning. There is a special word called "Latte Liberal", which is as sarcastic as "champagne socialism" in Britain and "caviar leftist" in France. Refers to "people who sit in Starbucks drinking coffee and lament the plight of the poor" [6]. According to the urbandictionary online dictionary website, a "latte liberal" refers to a person who is financially comfortable and verbally supports liberalism, but actually behaves differently. These liberals sit together to drink overpriced Starbucks coffee and express sadness over the plight of the poor (This term derives from liberals who sit around and drink overpriced diluted Starbucks coffee while lamenting the plight of the poor. ) [7].

As early as 1997, the term "latte town" was coined by conservative writer David Brooks, which refers to areas with a liberal lifestyle. The most famous was an ad in 2004 attacking Howard Dean, the Democratic presidential candidate, asking Howard Dean to go back to Vermont with his "supporting tax increases, expanding the government, eating sushi, drinking lattes, driving Volvo, reading the New York Times, body piercing, Hollywood-loving leftist freak show."
