BLUE BOTTLE COFFEE hand-made coffee, no privacy and all public.
BLUE BOTTLE COFFEE, which made its debut on the west coast of the United States in 2004 and set off the third wave of coffee, officially entered Japan in 2015, opening the first overseas branch of the United States in Qingchengbai River. Why did BLUE BOTTLE COFFEE choose Japan as its first step into overseas markets? That's because in fact, the founder of James Freeman was inspired by the Japanese teahouse culture and founded BLUE BOTTLE COFFEE, which combines his own insistence on coffee with the Japanese teahouse culture. However, BLUE BOTTLE, which has created a lot of fans by making coffee by hand, does not rush to expand its business, cherish every customer who enters the door, insist on providing customers with the best cup of coffee and create a perfect BLUE BOTTLE COFFEE experience. This time we are in Nakamoto black Cafe, where Mr. Hiroshi Fujioka, a Barista and training lecturer at BLUE BOTTLE COFFEE in Japan, tells you the know-how of BLUE BOTTLE COFFEE's hand-brewed coffee and popular surrounding products, so that you can aftertaste BLUE BOTTLE COFFEE's delicious coffee at home.
First of all, please prepare 30 grams of freshly ground coffee powder and 93 degrees hot water around 350c.c. The first point is to accurately measure the weight of coffee beans. The second point is that it is proposed to add water in four stages. Next, Mr. Hiroshi Fujioka, a Barista and training lecturer, taught us how to brew the BLUE BOTTLE COFFEE stream.
Step 1: put the filter paper into the filter cup
After putting the filter paper into the filter cup, pour in the coffee powder and tap slightly on the table to make the coffee powder even and flat. Usually, after the filter paper is put into the filter cup, in order to keep warm and remove the stench of the paper, it will be covered with hot water first, but because the filter paper of BLUE BOTTLE COFFEE is made of bamboo that does not smell of paper, you can omit this step if you use BLUE BOTTLE COFFEE filter paper.
Step 2: from the inside out
After steaming the coffee, slowly soak the coffee powder with boiling water at a temperature of about 93 degrees at a speed of about 8 Murray for 10 seconds. Wet the coffee powder evenly from the middle to the side and inject it into 150CC or so. Then wait for about 10 seconds.
Step 3: dense fine bubbles
After the first two steps, add 100cc for the third and fourth time respectively, do not add water too fast each time, it is very important to make the coffee powder expand like a cake, the surface will also produce dense foam, this step should be noted, the injection rate of water should be slow, only a little higher than the coffee powder.
Step 4: time wait
It takes a little time to make a cup of mellow coffee by hand, which takes an average of two and a half minutes-about three minutes. The speed of water injection should not be too fast, it should be increased by about 100CC each time, and there should be an interval between each time. To make a cup of your own satisfied taste.
Everyone has his own preference for coffee. By grasping these four steps, you can adjust your favorite coffee taste in time.
