Coffee, movies, karaoke--these seemingly casual pastimes are big events for the residents of Lishan in Heping District! Yesterday, the Taichung City Cultural Bureau held the Lishan Art Festival in the mountains. Culture and art were put in the luggage, bringing warm coffee, warm movies and karaoke that friends loved.

Yeh Shu-shan, director of the Cultural Affairs Bureau, said with emotion that residents and children live in the beautiful Lishan Mountain area, more than 100 kilometers from the city, and rarely go to the cinema or sing karaoke on weekends. She actively plans cultural activities in the countryside,"to continue the love for remote villagers!"

The first stop of the "Cultural Travel Box" activity arrived at Huanshan Presbyterian Church and Lishan Hotel in Heping District. The mobile leisure and leisure service vehicle for the elderly provided free coffee, tea and blood pressure measurement service to make the mountain people feel at ease.

The most anticipated film,"The Immortal Knight," describes young people who have dreams when they are young. Although they are seriously ill, lose their wives, and lose their minds in old age, they do not give up their dreams. It is a heartwarming story that inspires people.

At the end of the screening, more than 100 people in the audience wiped their tears silently, hugged friends beside them, and even laughed and encouraged each other,"Let's cheer together!"

Father Kao Fu-nan of Nantun Catholic Church, who came to Taiwan 22 years ago, has chocolate skin and speaks fluent Chinese and Taiwanese. Children compete to talk to him. Gao Funan happily revealed that this is his third time to serve residents in Lishan,"the enthusiasm and care of Taiwanese people moved me the most", hoping to set up a child care station in Lishan in the future, so that love can be distributed.
