Luckin Coffee (luckin coffee) newly upgraded coffee beans just won the gold award at the IIAC 2018 International Coffee Taste Competition held in Milan, Italy, after strict blind testing by evaluation committee from 18 countries and regions.

IIAC, the International Association of Coffee connoisseurs, was founded in 1993 as a non-profit organization. The IIAC International Coffee Taste Competition Gold Award is an Oscar award in the International Coffee Bean Competition, which aims to highlight the coffee that has been carefully picked, professionally processed, carefully screened, carefully roasted and ingenious in the world, so as to highlight the pleasure it brings to users in terms of taste, and to make consumers understand the quality products on the market. In the IIAC 2018 International Coffee tasting Competition, Luckin Coffee evaluated the latest upgraded coffee beans adopted by all stores. The evaluation committee of 18 countries and regions conducted multiple rounds of evaluation of more than 300 coffee products by strictly anonymous blind test. Luckin Coffee finally won the gold medal in the Italian concentrate group of the IIAC 2018 International Coffee tasting Competition.

On November 28th, all Luckin Coffee stores across the country completed a major upgrade of coffee beans, all using newly upgraded coffee beans. Since January this year, Luckin Coffee has been selecting Arabica seasonal raw beans from Ethiopia, Brazil, Guatemala, Colombia and other four famous producing areas in the world, and has been professionally prepared by the WBC World Barista Champion team. Members of its winning team include 2014 WBC champion Hideki Izaki, 2003 WBC Italian champion Andre Latuwada and 2017 WBC Chinese champion Pan Zhimin. Through 10 months of user information collection and taste feedback, and through the professional deployment of the champion team of three WBC world baristas, the upgraded Luckin Coffee beans are the first choice for Ethiopian sun Xidamo raw beans in the season, and the coffee is more mellow and fragrant after medium-deep roasting.

By the end of November, Luckin Coffee had more than 1700 stores in 21 cities across the country, making it the second largest chain coffee brand in China.
