The first Starbucks ®Bakery (Starbucks Reserve Roastery) opened in Seattle, USA in 2014. After Shanghai, Milan and New York, the fifth bakery in the world, Starbucks ®Tokyo Bakery, will appear in Tokyo on February 28th, 2019.

Different from ordinary Starbucks stores, the roaster will set up a large bean roaster to roast coffee beans on the spot, grind and extract them on the spot, and the baristas in the store will brew cups carefully for guests, just like a giant coffee factory. provide a richer, diverse, top coffee experience, which is expected to attract more coffee fans to come for the pilgrimage.

Kengo Kuma, a well-known designer who worked with Starbucks to design the Tianmangong watch store in Taizaifu, was once again invited to operate for Japan's first "Starbucks selection ®Bakery". Kengo Kuma said that through this cooperation, we hope to create a feeling of life style in the new era, combining traditional Japanese design with the modern sense of Starbucks, with the natural and seasonal feeling of Kurokawa, and creating a warm and harmonious atmosphere.

The restaurant is expected to serve meals and bread from Rocco Princi, a well-known Italian cuisine, which is the only place for Starbucks in Japan.
