Ninger Hani Yi Autonomous County is located in the south of Yunnan Province, located in the southern section of the Hengduanshan system, the southern edge of the boundless mountains, across the Tropic of Cancer. The average elevation in the territory is 1701.4 meters above sea level, and the climate belongs to the subtropical summer, wet and winter dry climate type. The annual average temperature is 18.6 ℃, the annual rainfall is 1483.1 mm, and the annual average relative humidity is 78%. The ecological conditions are superior, providing unique climatic conditions for the growth of coffee.

Brief introduction of Ning'er Coffee

Ning'er coffee is a specialty of Ning'er County, Pu'er City, Yunnan Province. Ninger Hani and Yi Autonomous County is one of the main producing areas of Pu'er small-grain coffee.

The natural conditions of light, heat, water and soil in Ning'er Hani Yi Autonomous County are superior, and the biological growth capacity is strong, especially the area with an elevation of 1200 meters and a slope of less than 25o is the best suitable area for coffee growth.

Ning'er introduced coffee seedlings in 1987 and achieved success. Since 1989, Puyi, Liming, Mohei, Dehua and other townships (towns) in the Bianjiang and Xiaohei River basins have been planted on a large scale. By the end of 2012, the coffee area of the county has reached more than 100000 mu, of which more than 80, 000 mu has been put into production, making it one of the main coffee producing areas in Pu'er City.
