Starbucks event: Meizhen "Please drink Coffee Relay"
According to the Associated Press on August 21, local time, a Starbucks coffee shop in St. Petersburg, Fla., held a love transfer event: nearly 400 customers paid for the coffee of the next stranger.
It is reported that at around 7 a.m. on August 20, a woman drove to the takeout window of the Starbucks coffee shop. after buying her own coffee, she told the clerk that she was willing to pay for the strange customers waiting in line behind her. When the second customer unexpectedly received a cup of free coffee, he decided to continue the careless act of kindness and paid for the next customer's coffee. Then the love chain was passed on by hundreds of customers one by one. Some customers said that this kind of behavior is very beautiful.
However, the transmission of love was interrupted at 6 o'clock that evening. When the 379th customer bought coffee, the staff explained the charity coffee event to her, but the woman refused to attend, saying that she only wanted to pay for the coffee she bought.
The clerk believed that the 379 customer did not understand the true meaning of the charity coffee event. Finally, the Love Coffee activity ended after the 378th Cup.
