Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania, retains many quaint European-style red tile houses. In addition to being private houses, businessmen tend to transform these old houses into restaurants or small shops. But recently, a design student took a different approach and set his sights on the steep roof of the red tile house: a daring rooftop cafe emerged.

This rooftop cafe in Vilnius is located on top of an European-style red tile house. Although it is called a cafe, it actually has only one table for two people. The kit, which costs $250, is made of plywood and plastic and is firmly fastened to the roof.

If you want to come here for coffee, you have to climb to the roof with the help of a ladder, and then walk on the sloping tiles to your seat. If you don't have enough courage, your legs may tremble with fear. However, there are not a small number of daring customers, including the mayor of Vilnius, who simply sat on the crossbeam of the roof to drink.

The rooftop cafe was designed by Ain, a 26-year-old female college student, inspired by a fairy tale she read as a child. The city government of Vilnius particularly appreciated the cafe concept and even helped Aine hold a special promotion meeting and invited celebrities and entertainment stars to come to promote it.

After the rise of fame, many residents of Vilnius began to plan to build cafes on the roofs of their red tile houses. Ain is now busy patenting the cafe, hoping to extend it to more parts of the world so that everyone can drink coffee on the roof and enjoy different cityscapes. Friends who want to open a coffee shop can broaden their minds and find another way.
