The Pacamaral Manor is located on an extinct volcano in the Pueblo Nuevo Vi ñ as,SantaRosa area, about 56km from the capital Guatemala City. The estate was bought by the current owner in 2012, when the Pacamaral estate was completely abandoned because of poor management. Now the coffee trees planted here grow under various and natural shelter trees, such as Spanish Toona sinensis, pine, cypress, oak and Inca trees. Although there are many modes of transportation to the manor, especially during the rainy season, a large number of Rain Water caused the river to the necessary area of the manor to soar, so that they could only drive directly through the riverbed.
PACAMARA Manor won the COE award in Guatemala in 2014, and its batch of Pacamara varieties stood out from hundreds of coffees at the 2014 auction of the Guatemalan Coffee Association, winning 12th place. Such brilliant achievements have inspired them to pursue higher quality coffee plantation. at present, most of the area of the estate is mainly planted with Pacamara varieties, and only a small part is planned to grow Kaduai, so Pacamaral plans to continue to increase the number of coffee trees and shelter trees it has planted in the near future, with new trees replacing old ones to ensure coffee quality. On the other hand, considering the importance of a stable water source for its coffee cultivation, Pacamaral has built several reservoirs to ensure the water supply in the estate. Finally, whether permanent employees or seasonal employees, the manor provides them with accommodation to protect their quality of life, because they are well aware that healthy and happy employees are definitely one of the most important assets of the manor. COE ranked 13th in the prize winning record of 2014.
The birth of Pacamara (Pacamara) comes from the dreamy variety derived from the pursuit of [prolific] & [beautiful size] by coffee producers. Compared with other hybrids mixed with genes of Robusta (* Note: Arabica is the main coffee variety for human consumption, but not as delicious as Arabica), both parents are Pacamara of Arabica native varieties. its flavor is even more remarkable because of its family origin.
In recent years, in the most famous CoE (Cup of Excellence) Cup Test Competition in Central and South America, the most popular winners are Pacamara and Geisha. The appearance of these two beans really broke the glasses of a bunch of experts and broadened the world's vision of fine beans from Central America. Compared to the geisha, it is as amazing and fragrant as African beans. Pacamara can be said to be the real champion of American beans. In addition to the aroma, the mellow taste is also unique. The performance of all aspects is higher than that of other beans. No wonder Lien Chan is victorious. Since 2003, he has won the championship and the top several titles in his country of origin El Salvador, Honduras and Guatemala.
Pacamara, with its giant elephant bean (Maragogype) pedigree, is also superior in raw bean size and tree height, far better than other Arabica beans. The huge and beautiful bean body contains an amazing special flavor, and it is not too much to be called the prince of the hybrid breed. The outstanding characteristics, in addition to the positive flavor and appearance, but also the negative reaction in the output. In terms of the same planting unit, the yield of Pacamara is much lower than that of Arabica in general, especially high-yielding varieties such as Kaddura. The [high] and [expensive] price also comes from this.
