In the new study, however, the pH value (pH levels) of both cold and hot coffee samples fell between 4.85 and 5.13. According to this range of numbers, Dr. Rao said in a public statement that "a cup of cold coffee" should not be seen as a simple solution when the body needs caffeine but wants to avoid gastrointestinal suffering.
