Panama's boutique coffee is produced in Chiriqu í province on the west side of the country, while the Boquete region in Chiriki province has the longest history and is the most famous producing area of Panamanian coffee. This place not only has fertile soil of volcanic rock, but also is surrounded by fog, so that the temperature is not too high and the annual rainfall is abundant.
