A 10-story apartment building in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, over the age of 50, looks no different from most ordinary old residential buildings, with mottled walls and aging wires, which should soon be demolished. However, it is full of cafes with different characteristics and themes. The whole apartment is filled with the trend culture of the new generation. The preservation of the mark of the times and the blending of modern culture make this building a sign-in attraction for local hipsters!

The apartment, called the cafe apartment, is located at 42 Nguyen Hue Street, Ho Chi Minh City. If you don't look inside from the glass window or stare up at the line of English and read it carefully, you may not think that this old apartment is the most fashionable coffee museum.

The apartment was first built in an old house in the mid-20th century, where the Vietnamese government and the United States military were stationed. In 1975, it also became the private house of government officials. Until 2015, it was renovated again, bringing together a large group of cafes of different styles, so the building was also named Coffee apartment (The Cafe Apartment).

When you enter the apartment, you can see the names of all the cafes, draw ugly and cute graffiti on the walls of the apartment corridor, and write various signs to attract you to climb step by step. Of course, if you don't want to take the stairs, you can also spend money to take the elevator to get to the store you want to go to.

It is such an old apartment, how can the coffee shop be opened at a time when Starbucks is starting to close?

The connection between the Vietnamese and coffee was brought about by the war, and the French occupied Vietnam in the 19th century and brought coffee cultivation here, making Vietnam the world's second largest coffee exporter. But all the merchants here have set up cafes, which sounds unreasonable. But when you visit the whole apartment, you will find that except for the bookstore on the first floor, the cafe on each floor is completely different, which can be said to be a collection of four oceans and five continents.
